We never ask for your passwords
Waypost does not request, receive, or store login credentials for your bank or any other organization. There is nothing there for an attacker to take.
Only what the change requires
Each organization receives your name, your previous address, your new address, and the effective date. Nothing else leaves the platform.
A record you can inspect
Every authorization is timestamped and stored with a fingerprint of the exact wording you agreed to, alongside a full activity history.

Frequently asked questions
- Does Waypost change my address at my real bank today?
- No. This is a preview release. Every organization in the directory is fictional, clearly labelled Simulated, and no real company is contacted. The platform is built so official integrations can be added as provider partnerships are established.
- Do you need my online banking password?
- Never. Waypost does not ask for, accept, or store credentials for any other organization, and it does not log in to any site on your behalf. At most you can record the last four digits of an account number to help you tell your own accounts apart.
- What exactly gets shared with each organization?
- Your name, the address you are moving from, the address you are moving to, and the effective date. You see this list before you authorize anything, and you choose which organizations receive it.
- Is my address verified against USPS?
- Not yet. Waypost currently validates that an address is correctly formatted for the United States, which is a different thing from confirming that it exists and is deliverable. We label it as a format check rather than implying postal verification.
- Can I cancel a request after submitting it?
- Yes, for any organization that has not already been processed. Cancelling stops the pending items and records the cancellation in your activity history.
- How long does an address change take?
- Each organization decides for itself. Waypost shows the status of every organization separately rather than presenting a single misleading progress bar, so you can see what is finished and what is still open.
